We met up early at the Mahogany Mill boat ramp and got geared up, using a combination of deep sea, jigging, trolling, and other techniques to target a variety of species. The conditions were perfect - clear skies and calm waters made for an incredibly comfortable ride as we headed out. It didn't take long before the first rod starting singing, and D Dan was hooked into a feisty Bluefish that put up one heck of a fight. We quickly boated that one and kept the momentum going, with the crew taking turns reeling in Bluefish and Spanish mackerel on a steady pick.

The action was constant, with fish hitting our baits and lures all around the boat. We covered a lot of water, trying different depths and presentations to see what the fish were responding to. The variety of techniques we got to employ really kept things interesting - from long casts with the fly rods to quick, hard-hitting jig strikes, there was never a dull moment. Everyone got in on the action, swapping rods and sharing high-fives after each successful catch.

Weather Conditions: The past week has seen mostly clear skies with temperatures ranging from 75°F in the morning to 85°F in the afternoon. Winds have been light, averaging around 5-10 mph from the southeast, providing calm and ideal fishing conditions.

Inshore Fishing: Inshore fishing has been productive, with plenty of speckled trout and redfish caught near grass flats and oyster bars. Early mornings and late afternoons have been the most successful times, with live shrimp and soft plastic baits proving to be the most effective.

Offshore Fishing: Offshore fishing has been excellent, with anglers landing impressive red snapper and grouper. The season is in full swing, and the reefs and wrecks are teeming with activity. Trolling with cigar minnows and vertical jigging have yielded great results for king mackerel and amberjack.

Today's fishing trip was a success! We had a pretty good bite on sheep, and it made for a great day on the water. The weather was perfect, and the conditions were just right for some prime fishing. We were able to catch some nice-sized sheep that put up a good fight, and it made for an exciting day for everyone on board. As always, I was thrilled to be out on the water and to share the experience with our guests. Overall, it was a great day of fishing and I can't wait to do it again soon!

We caught lots of Mackerels and Red Snappers, making it a great fishing day! It was also good that we were all avid fishermen and therefore had the opportunity to catch fish. It was a fantastic trip with great guys. Fish with us!

It was a little too rough to Fish for snapper here in Pensacola so we fished for Spanish Mackerel instead. These fish are a ton of fun to catch on light tackle and can be found pretty regularly in the waters off of Pensacola, they always make an awesome plan B! Book a trip today!
